Imagine not having a job, yet still needing to provide for your family. Or, having a job that only pays a minimum wage and never brings home enough to pay for your basic needs. This is reality for many Americans who have seen their jobs move overseas, or who find themselves in financial straits for other reasons. Jesus said we are to treat others as we would like to be treated. When we feed and clothe people who are struggling, it is the same as is we are doing it to Jesus. That’s how heaven views our simple acts of compassion! The Clothes Cabin, in Chandler, Arizona, is a ministry of compassion that brings hope and encouragement to many homes.
